I complained to my boss that there’s no place to eat except the restaurant in company. He is surprised: “Why don’t you eat in restaurant?”
And now after I have eaten in the restaurant, I have a stomachache. Since the food there was of bad quality.
In the past few weeks, I hardly can find a proper place to eat when ordered a food delivery.
In the end, I just ordered another food delivery, and eat in the empty restaurant. Some kind of mysterious feeling.

Working in enclosed environment is like working in cemetery 🪦.
When we were developing software, it is in the “development library”, where we can made changes. After it was finished and got tested, it went to “controlled library”, where we cannot make changes. And people soon forgot it 🚮.
So after software is finished, it never got reviewed. Like a dead body or a ghost 👻.
When suddenly some devices got broken, or a ship 🚢 needs upgrade, we took it out from “controlled library”, and read the code for development. Like a dead people got resurrection 😈.
Then when we were developing new software, some people may think that the previous software’s design was good. It was like controlled by ghost 👹.
Then I need to introduce them latest technology, clean up these naïve mind. It’s like expelling ghosts ☠️.

公司决定节日要发礼盒。
发的时候是一个下午。盒子被摆到屋子里，桌子上放着一张单子。她和另外一个同事在旁边。
“发什么东西？给我来一个.” 我签了字，她递给我一个盒子，并和我说“中秋快乐”。我也回了“中秋快乐”。
但是节日还没有到。很多同事也正在工作。总感觉被占了便宜。
她是不是趁机套我的话呢。因为我们以前关系很好，现在不说话了。保密机构就是这样。人们不说话，就不说话。如果分到了不同的项目，见都不会见到。因为一些规定，也不会经常使用微信。人们养成了只会在自己的圈子的习惯。
因为一些同事出差了，就说住一起的可以代领。然后她又趁机打听到了谁和谁住一起的信息。在我看来，这些都是隐私信息。
人们有了权力，就会滥用。这就是为什么权力需要约束。
现在想起来，另一个同事也在让我们填写信息。都是很重要的信息，直接关系到我们的绩效和工资。但是我却没有很在意。好像我更关心眼前的好处。

Pain of private software
I’ve gone very far, but I suddenly got a problem. They are all old, private software. For law reason I can’t share so no one can save me…
And I doubt if there’s another colleague in company that have the same or more knowledge in this specific area compared to me.
I wish someday I can work on open-source software…

庆祝生日是一个巨大的骗局
领导老是在群里庆祝生日，因为他知道我们的隐私信息，并且可能用了专门的软件管理。
到了合适的时候，他就拿出来这些信息逼迫我们做一些事情。

It’s national day in China, and I have several days of holiday.
But I don’t feel easy. Or relaxed. The leader have foreseen this event and pushing his policy to control people’s mind.
The payroll is on the exact day as national holiday. This is intentional. Because the company mainly serves for government, and it transfers the message, that even if your freedom is restricted, you are still wealthy.
But this is just propaganda. The full-time employees’ salary are reduced this month in order to pay us the salary.
And the salary is already late. In the last three months, the government are already lacking money due to economy downturn because of bad COVID policies.
That to be said, our salary is just above Japan’s least income. year-end awards are not paid to you in the New Year - but splited to two parts, the minor is paided in the new year holiday, and the other is paided in July, afraided that you will resign from the company, because July is a good time to switch jobs.
Back to the road. I see the gov is using biological advantage to control people. In company, information is controlled, the computer cannot connect to the network since it contains confidential documents. And even mobile phone is prohibited from bring into the office, so seeing people checking his phone in the corridor is an usual event. People sit next to you are not working on the same project. And there are few common topics, exactly like a jail.
Yes, it is a jail. There are locks everywhere, and your card can only open the door of your floor, and the necessary routes to reach there. But it is also a common event to see that someone’s card have expired, helplessly waiting for another people to pass by and open it. The card permission management are just shit.
And people’s attitude is also shit. For example, to enter your office, you not just need a card, but also need to open the office’s door, which is locked in the previous day. The people having the key are always late - cause they see other people waiting for him/her is a privilege. In the end, I just copied the key privately.
There’s a culture in company - that the work seems very relaxed, and they only provide you money. But this is not true. What is being demolished is your mind.
Because there’s no people to talk, nowhere to go, no music to listen, people’s mind are being drained, people’s emotion are being dried. Because the worker is largely man, and if there’s a woman, she is often the center, cause people would not see a girl all day. And this results that most people are married early, just one or two years after they entered the company.
The company’s rule doesn’t allow personal leave - and if so it will significantly reduce your salary. Only sick leave and family leave are allowed. So when people feels tired from work, the preferred option is to go home. This cause a dependence of one’s family. When people got free time, they always go home. And that is becoming a culture in China. They first starve you, then they can control you, and your didn’t even feel it.
