I have had a C# interview for a company making devices. they have factory in Gu’an.

The software is used mainly for testing the devices.

first interview

the HR was easy to talk. I got an interview invite immediately. I studied for two days, given my solid CS fundation, C# was quick to learn.

The guy interviewed me asked standard interview questions. He certainly know something, and it went smothly.

I almost confirmed that I have got the job. Then we have a talk about salary; it was very low and I was dissatisfied. In the end, he said: “it all depends on boss”. I don’t know what it means until later; so I continued my advertising.

second interview

I don’t print the resume again because I think it will not be related to tech. However, the boss still ask tech questions. I learned by English so I can’t answer it. I want to show him my new resume and, optionally, some projects, but he refused.

In the end he talked about the salary again, and we are both not very satisfied. Then after a few days I asked HR about the result and I was rejected.

final thoughts

This company is making hardware, so the boss is familar with hardware; but this job is not very much related to it. It was wrong for him to ask too much hardware questions. And, of course, if one is very familar with hardware, the salary was too low for them.

I also think this is a good oppertunity to learn, but apparently they have no willing to teach.

Also, since the company is spilitted to two parts - one is making hardware, which the boss manages in Gu’an, and anther is making testing softwares - the management division should also be splitted. the guy interviewed me has the potentional, but he don’t have the mind; he just says “it all depends on boss”.

Finally, I think they are eventually making low-end devices. I said “I have CET6 certificate”, and they don’t value it very much. So they don’t know very much about advanced technology, because it will certainly involve English. This type of company don’t have future.

It’s the same with CSSC!

Coincidentally, I thought about CSSC.

Gu’an is close to Daxing, so there are many people working here. They are weak in thought, so they might get infected.

And the process comfirms - the leader was very angry if we don’t follow his command, even if it was just a small thing. and a level down him, the secondary leader, his power was all grabbed by the leader.

And he is get the same mean as the Gu’an boss; he punished 1K CNY out of 7K salary for a conflict in a coffee shop for a hobby project. Also he don’t have the future sight. It was not so when first transferred from Haidian.

And that must be the reason that the people familar with devices (xiao-heng) left the company.
