It’s time for me to get a job; I review hardwares, lifestyle, and technologies.

Then I think about relations with company. It remind me of some post by a HR.

What he/she says is that: if one don’t work for over 3 months, I won’r recurit him/her.

There is also some talk about how to deal with a question about “gap” times.

people fear that gap time prevent them from getting a job. it’s just not true.

when you are not working, it’s not related to work. so company has no right to ask you this.

A much deeper thing is about privacy. when you resign from a job, you may be feeling tired; or have an aim; or something happened in your family; it’s super personal. Asking for it is privacy invasion.

I recall a previous job; a coworker is performing an interview. He is asking for camara permission. the applicant is a girl. Very suspcious. The nearby worker are all concerned, and he just find an excuse and say that she can just say her computer don’t have camera.

Another thing is about attitude. Job seeker think low of themself; so they put their privacy at a lower position. It’s not true either. People are born equal. It’s the root of human rights. When you think that the company is in need of work, don’t you think they are weak too? Job is a trade. Yourself is a product, and you are trading your labor with money.

So when HR ask about gaps, I will reply him/her: no. it’s not related to work.

And if this persists, then this is a low quality of HR recruit and education. The company is not worth to stay.

final words

Enough for these words; company is about feeling. Talk directly to your manager; if they have excuse showing up, then something is seriously wrong.

If privacy is not respected even before you enter the company, something is seriously wrong too!
